If you check the history of Google Index Algorithm, you will see there is hundreds of changes since 2005. These changes indicates that Google keep trying to fight against web spam, spam content and pages. Now days you don’t need to focus on Google, focus on users because Google work for users not for SEOs. I have seen thousand of webmaster or I would love to call them “Spammers” cheating business owners by their falls statements. They never do what actually they promises to do. I have checked many SEO / Link Building Packages, still they have mentioned that they doing Junk Submission but don’t know why people don’t understand it that they going to spoil the website link profile and their reputation.
I call them “Link Building Psycho“,
they only know building too many links in short time. Sometime they get ranked higher than a well reputed website but it will not stay for long time. This is also a Google algo failure. I will explain you it in my next post.. stay with us
For building the solid Google ranking of your website, you should take care of the bad link building processes. Moreover, it will give a shorter life in the search engine but you will never get the longer life in it. The reason is that sometimes the bad link building processes will destroy your credibility and reputation in the search engine as well.
Search Engine Submission (Don’t)
Google and other major search engines are much smarter than you, you don’t need to submit your website in term of getting ranked higher or getting indexed because they will find themselves. It is a kind of practice, which make your website to be listed in the search engine. Therefore, this habit is not good for any website. Moreover, you will see that after submitting the website in the search engine, your website never looks well due to the tremendous online competition for ranking. It will destroy the website’s performance as well.
Junk Directory Submission
Submitting your website in directories can be beneficial if you do it on relevant and high authorized directories like, Dmoz, Yahoo, Business, etc. Even I would suggest to do local business listing in real sites rather than doing junk submissions in poor or low quality directories. one of my other friend says

Article Submission
Submitting one article in multiple places call content farming which is not a good practice to get ranked higher. Never try to submit article for your website in the search engine for getting the ranking. Actually, the article will make the unnecessary congestion of articles in the online directory, which ultimately make your website unnoticed as well. The article submission will make your website ranking in the search engine more vulnerable as well.
Social Bookmarking To Get Backlinks
Submitting ONLY targeted pages in thousand of social bookmarking will kii your website. Generally, the social bookmarking will invite your website to get trapped in the link jungles which your website will never get out from it and also it will harm its ranking heavily in the search engine as well. Basically, you will see that the social bookmarking will make your website more vulnerable to the unwanted and dangerous links as well.
Forum Posting For Links
Participating in forums with aim to get backlinks doesn’t work anymore. Even most of well reputed and high quality forums have moderators those keep fighting with spam and comments that triggered as link building spammers. About the forums which allow you to put links just after registration “they are the place for spammers”. A link from a spam forum can destroy your Google ranking.
Blog Commenting to get Backlinks
I’m not saying that blog commenting is a bad practice but yes doing it too much and for link building purpose than It is. People make comment like “I love your blog.. www. Fu#$% bot.com”.. This what user hate and as result Google will do the same.
Link Exchange
This is a 2005 link building practices but people still do, Wake up guys .. It’s 2013. If you are depended on the link exchange, then it will destroy your Google ranking in the considerable way, which you will never imagine before. The reason is that the link exchange will never work in your favor. Rather, it will kill the website ranking in the search engine in the bigger way.
Link Wheel
You think you will create a confusing link wheel that Google can’t recognized it? Think million times. They will easily track it
Buying Links

Blog Rolls & Footer Links
Blog rolls are in the spammer trend, as like “link exchange” in 2005 to 2009. Never go for blog rolls and footer links unless you are the web developer of the website. If they putting your links it means they can put spammers links too so keep away from this opportunity. This practice will give you a bad reputation in the internet community. Even, website will be affected as well.
Creating Social Profiles to Get Links
When Google confirmed that they are using Social Signals as a ranking factor … Now Spammers are moving to social media sites.. they keep spamming there. Now people selling social profiles links, Likes , followers in term that it will help to get ranked higher. Now Facebook, twitter and other big social sites are full of inactive and fake profiles. Even You can get Facebook fans, Twitter followers Google+ etc at very cheap rate on Fiverr.com (One of the reason why Fiverr Sucks)
Video Submissions In Term To Get Backlinks
Do you really think that Video submission creates backlinks? Since most of video hosting sites are no follow they can only drive traffic to your website.. then why Submission? why don’t you just post them in one place and work on it to get more viewers.
Too Much Use of Web 2.0 to Get Links
Too much uses of the Web 2 in your SEO campaign may spoil the party. This is something like Link Wheel and blog spamming. Creating hundreds of blogs and posting duplicate content on them with backlink to money website.. This will never work.
Exact Match Keywords Links
There is a risk for using the exact matching keywords for any website. After Google Penguin 2.0, Every website those using exact match keywords and those have unnatural link profile they will be devaluate. This may cause to decrease the number in search result and even some of the pages which are affected by exact match keywords links may get penalized. So say Bye Bye Exact Match Keywords Links and Hi to Nude Urls (which looks more sexy)
Guest Posting in Junk Blogs
I agree that guest blogging is a good and a great way to get natural links to money website. But when you are going to submit guest post in the junk blogs, it will help your competitors to beat you and get ranked higher then you. There is millions of blogs which are developed to get paid guest posts only. They buy high PR expired domains and update it with few post and then they start asking for pay because they have some PR. That’s why marketer check DA not PR. So posting your qulaity content in junk blogs may devalueate your money site:

Great Post but i have some confusion
1. Bookmarking website and comment mostly use nofollow links so how they cab be harmful
2. google uses blogroll in all their blogs, do you think google do something that is against it guidelines
3. as far as about exact link, a ratio of 3:7 for keywords and business name is just ok and its not harmful

You are right at some points.. but there is thousand of social bookmarking and blogs roll sites which build to give backlinks? Do you think it works?
About the exact link, there is no official statement that recommend the ratio.. so every link you create to get SEO benefits are under LINK Scheme and I read somewhere (May be at SEL) natural links,.. Using nude url (clickable) or brand name are the practices that create natural links.. I use keywords sometime but not too much,.. I mix it with brand name.
May i say, complete bullshit.
I have been ‘breaking’ every rule above and i ranking P1 on google for many websites/keywords… if you know how to properly set your link wheel/profile with tiered link building.
